SUL Education believes that children have rights as individuals and should be treated with dignity and respect.

SUL Education will work hard to provide a safe environment for any young people (under 18) in its care while they are studying with SUL Language Schools.

We believe:

The welfare of young people is our first concern.
All young people, whatever their age, culture, disability, gender, language, racial origin, socio-economic status, religious belief and/or sexual identity have the right to safeguarding from abuse.
It is everyone’s responsibility to report any concerns about abuse to the SUL Designated Safeguarding Officer, and we pass on any concerns about an adult to the Social Services and Police.
All incidents of alleged poor practice, misconduct and abuse will be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately and the appropriate authorities will be informed.
We will always comply with UK law.
